Today is a special day!
`cos it's 29th of February. :)
I wanna watch The Leap Years too. Someone treat me to the movie!

I just noticed that my watch doesn't have this date 29th while I was on the phone with HP on my way home. Anyway, today is the first day of my 3rd job, which last for 3 days and I'm working with Isalina. In case you're curious, it's at Singapore Expo NATAS Fair. Omigosh, and our foot are freaking pain and sore. One down two more days to go. ENDURE!

We saw Ms Lai [my sec 3 POA teacher], two malay famous chefs [I didn't know them, but Isalina told me so], an older lady who sometimes acts for Mediacorp and Moses Lim. Lol. We walked around the fair for countless times and remembered seeing his face printed somewhere for a travel agency, and right there we suddenly saw the real person. Then the VIPs - Daphne and a guy who was her classmate in 4/5. They were working at the Mediacorp Publishing booth. I'm curious. What does the magazines got to do with the fair? =/

Isalina and I got two packets of Gold Kili's Osmanthus Green Tea too. Alright, I'm promoting for the company here. MUST TRY! Listen to Joan's advice goes no wrong. :D

I'll stop here. Going off to play audition with Fabian. xD

JAE Appeal Results out!
Successfully appealed into TP BZE. Made up my mind to stick to it.
So, bye NP IT.
However, I'll keep look-out for extra computing lessons in the future.
That settles everything.

In that way, even if I can't take the java stuff, I can still back-out.
But if I take it as a poly course, I'll suffer not only my academic.
BZE is much more practical.

Happy Birthday Lynette!
though you aren't here to see this. :)

Happy Birthday LT. :D

I've been looking for this song for at least a decade. Thanks YS for giving me the name of the song. I actually prefer the last version.

Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You by George Benson.

Nothing's Gonna Change My Love For You by Leeds.

Nothing's Gonna change My Love For You by Glenn Medeiros.

If I had to live my life without you near me
The days would all be empty
The nights would seem so long
And with you I see forever oh so clearly
I might have been in love before
But it never felt this strong
Our dreams are young and we both know
They'll take us where we want to go
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
One thing you can be sure of
I'll never ask for more than your love
Nothing's gonna change my love for you
You ought to know by now how much I love you
You'll only change my whole life through
Nothing's gonna change my love for you

If the road ahead is not so easy
Our love will lead a way for us
Like a guiding star
I'll be there for you if you should need me
You don't have to change a thing
I love you just the way you are
So come with me and share the view
I'll help you see forever too
Hold me now, touch me now
I don't want to live without you

I'm kind of messed up.
Forget it.
Went Hougang Mall with YS, and we bought LT's birthday present - a pair of earrings and a pouch. And we each bought an identical pendant/ring to wear. Next, we meet up with the others and watched "L Change the World". At first I didn't feel like watching it, but no complains now. :D

Few days ago I happened to saw this guy [middle] on the news, somehow giving personal opinions on the L movie.

Compare with the guy also in the middle. Hahaha, you should get what I mean.

I like this character too. She had a strong character.

Just happened to find her older picture. By the way, she is known as Mayuko Fukuda.
Pretty right? ;D

I found these pictures using the google search.
Read on the movie synopsis at http://www.encorefilms.com/L.html

Suddenly have the urge to post this while chatting with YY at msn. I was making my final correction to the appeal, because I didn't feel so right about NP's Envir & Water Tech. And thank goodness to YY. Now that I've decided to give up on enrolling in - there was only 40 places available in that course. So currently my first appeal choice is TP's BZE and second choice as SP's Chem Process Tech - the course Cass is in. Because both intakes are quite high so I decided to try, since I am okay with them. Both COP is 18, so I'm praying hard to get in. I'm giving up my current course because, the intake is way too high, if I add the intakes of the five polys together. This is the website for 2008 poly intake.
http://www.polytechnic.edu.sg/polyguide/Guide.aspx?id=Intake

This is the reason why RP courses' COP are always so high - a result of high intake.

& Happy Birthday Fabian!

YEAH! I've sent in my appeal just now! v(^-^)v
Three choices, but I only put two. First is NP's Environmental and Water Tech and second is TP's Business Process and Systems Engr. Praying hard to get in either now. Actually I wanted to appeal back to SP's bIT, but the dead system couldn't flexi. What's the point for appealing if everyone could get in, just the matter of the number of vacancies left? Gave a thought on it. If I really want that course, I have to wait till DAE begins. No thanks, I am not that desperate. By the way, I will try my best if I'm stucked at the current posted one. I really wanted to learn about those, that's why I put it as the 4th choice in the submission the other time, didn't I?

Went to RP today with M, LT and V. It was supposed to be an "appealing" session, but the humans there weren't really at work. What they had was an air-conditioned room with a few rows of laptops and seats with leaflets placed at the door, which the leaflets were already given to us very much earlier on, before the results were released. Supposingly, the laptops are used to visit the poly's own website and to the JAE appeal webpage which I had already found it last night. M logged in to the system using their lappies but couldn't enter the choices of her wants. She asked the two guys in the room for assistance, but instead they only told her if the options are not available means she is not qualified and therefore cannot select them. Then, they handed her a slip of paper which wrote the period of DAE (Direct Admission Exercise).

Wth, I don't understand what's the meaning of appealing. Spent so much time and money to travel there just to get the slip of paper and only to use the laptop to access the appeal website. We could have done that at home too. But of course, I know they can't do anything as they have to follow the procedures. After JAE where we secured a place in the institutions, there's DAE where the public gets their chance.

Okay, I admit it wasn't really a waste trip as it's the first time all four of us have been to RP, and we each gotten a cheap deal at Causeway Point before we left Woodlands. Though, unfortunately when I was telling my dad how I gotten those chocolates at a much cheaper price just now, he reminded me about the expiry date which I had forgotten to check. It's written "2008 3", supposingly it's on March. 9 more days lol.

Next, I don't know whether I should appeal to TP's BZE. I intend to put my original first choice, which is SP's bIT on the appeal form, and BZE as second. Is it a wise choice? My current course, IT, was said by a friend till it didn't sound quite nice to me, though I know she didn't intend it to be this way. I'm worried if I cannot make it in the 3 long years. Java language is tough.

PS, please respond as early as possible. It's urgent as I need to submit this by tomorrow 1600h.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008

No mood. No appetite. No time - only given 2 days to do the appealing.
By the way, I got into NAP, when others got into NP. Lol.
My 4th choice, Infomation Technology.
I'm worried if I would see all guys on the first day there.
Stupid SMS that was sent at 6.25am in the morning.
I guess I am one of the earliest few to receive it.
It frightened me that I couldn't continue sleeping, and to think that I will be out for the whole day when I only had 5h sleep.
I was online immediately after I gotten my results, and used msn until noon when I extended the time to meet Isalina.
Then, I dropped by PRSS to pass F his birthday present. The actual day is on 21st though.
Ending here. :)

I forgot to post this picture last night. I took it at Raffles City, where I went to visit the gals. LT said it was Valentines', so she arranged the zodiac miniature figures into this manner.

LH, MJ, G and I went to YS' house today. It looks so modern and white! Envious! xD
It's a condominium at Serangoon, next to Serangoon Secondary. And oh my, the school is painted with such "vibrant" colours! There are purple buildings. LT will stare at it without taking her eyes off when she sees it. :)

For 6/5 `03
Ice-skating @ Kallang Leisure Park on this coming Monday.
Meet 3pm at Bedok MRT control station, later to take shuttle bus.
Supposingly won't cost more than $20.
Please contact Kendrick.
Remember to pass around too. Thanks (:

Nearly forget to post on this.
Happy Valentines! ♥

Spend some fruitful time listening to these songs! :D

Happy B`day Elsen! :DD

I'm quite happy have some plan for the next few days.

(20 min later)
Back. I went to search for my English notes which I was studying on for my 'O' paper, because I suddenly recalled learning about a word which are use to represent happy. Delirious. Another word which I recalled learning somewhere, but I came across this morning when I was reading a book in the library - Elated. And to trust that I had to spend half an hour digging the texts just for this word, because I couldn't remember it. -.-

So that's the post for today. I shall proceed over to facebook! xD

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I just posted this over at the cfwrappers blog. So here it is again..
Happy Belated-Birthday PQ!

The actual date was yesterday, an hour ago on 11 February, but my sis was using the computer just now. There are lots of babies who were borned this month. Not everyone I'm buying the presents for, but still.. I'd spend my fortune away. I bought a total of 3 presents today and yesterday! Hee. :DD

Ending here. Nites! \(^^)/

PS. My sis got me a job for 3 days! And my handwriting is back to normal! I'll be redo-ing my TYS as I feel I'm getting rusty.

Saturday, February 9, 2008

Hmm.. 6/5 gathering. :D
Natty bought a big card and bear for Ms Wong, and we spilt the costs. We gathered earlier to write the card, then went to meet Ms Wong where she treated us to Bali Thai at TM. I didn't eat anything though because I was still full from my breakfast. Below is one of the pictures we took.

After that, most of us headed over to CS to catch movie Kungfu Dunk. Okay, so for recent movies, I have probably left out CJ7, P.S. I love you and the L movie which is a follow-up for DeathNote.

I bought a backpack from Yellow with the accompany of C, YT and KH. Thanks gals! This year's CNY is pretty empty. The mood that was used to have isn't there.

Friday, February 8, 2008

Yesterday, there were so many relatives came that there wasn't exactly any space to walk in the house. Today, the house looks so empty. I don't think there was anyone else except a family came. My dad isn't at home for two whole days, trying to get more customers as to earn money. [Fyi, he's a taxi driver.] My mom, sis and I used to be visiting relatives on 2nd day of every CNY, but well...

Three of us went Bugis Junction to catch "Ah Long Pte Ltd". The tickets were all sold out when we got there, so thank goodness my sis booked the tickets online before we left the house. Here's the official website. http://www.mediacorpraintree.com/ahlong/

Feel like watching Kungfu Dunk and CJ7 too. And I just realised there's another movie showing this period from http://www.moviexclusive.com/movievault.htm .

Happy Chinese New Year!

I wrote long wishlist in my notebook while my sis was using the computer just now. :PP
Took a picture of each page, but I'll only post the "better one".

Oh my. What happened to my handwriting? Must be because I hadn't been doing any proper writings since after the 'O's. It's kinda messy. =/

Have a blessful and happy year ahead! May all your wishes come true!
Get lots of ang pows these few days! :DD

Wednesday, February 6, 2008

I stumbled across certain blogs written by pet animals themselves. Here's one http://jaffeprt.blogspot.com/. Saw another one earlier, but couldn't remember the URL.

Happy CNY eve! [A smaller one for now, as I'll post another one for CNY tonight ;D]
School visit!
Amanda was supposed to meet us early morning, but she overslept. Thus, only Cass and I went to school. It'll be more fun if she's around. Uhm, so I guess we met Lamb outside the hall, where we went straight to after signing in with the security guards. I took out the oranges I brought from home and first exchanged with Ms Chia. I felt so sorry that I couldn't give other teachers - I only brought along 6 mandarin oranges. We spent the next moment outside the office.

Taken by Mr Leong's adjusting skills, combined with the camera's self-timer.

Taken by Ms Ho WW. Hee thanks!
Only putting up these two photos taken. Others are for my own reference. :P

I thought the bags looked nice as placed together like that. (^.^)b

By the time we settled down in the hall, this was the last and only performance we have catched. CO's performance was 2nd on the list, and obviously we've missed it.

Last picture for the day! :DD Thanks Yiyan!
Cass, Mrs. Tan and me!

I just tried to disturb my mom as she's putting money inside the angbaos. Then, I saw her putting in a note extra into one of the purple envelope [my sis purchased it from Mr. Bean] than others. Out of curiosity, I asked her why. Guess what she replied? She said, "See who's the lucky one lor." LOL.

Kendrick's fault for showing me this video when I'm feeling lousy!

LOL. By the way, thanks. :)

NYP!
Tuesday, February 5, 2008

It is a NYP day!
I was chatting with Jingfen last week, about the food which were introduced in 'Campus Yummy Hunt', and she brought me to her school today! :D So, we had roti prata for lunch. :P The prata was delicious, but I don't understand why I couldn't get the yellow stain from the curry off my mouth, not until I used water. JF was laughing at me while I tried to wipe off. =="

After that, we proceeded to the 'Shopping Arcade' at the other side of the school. Woah! In the Giordano shop, clothes are much cheaper compared to the amount we've seen in other outlets. Overall, the school environment looks conducive. But hor, a single day of traveling from Tanah Merah to YCK is already making me exhausted, especially when I wasn't feeling that well. Imagine doing that everyday.

I could have gotten some lollis ready to bring to school tomorrow on my way home. However, I ended up buying 5 sticks at the price of 60 cents each, when at first I thought of getting a whole container enough for everyone. Bloody ex. I've already spent $3 on these five and only could blame myself for going down late that other provision shops were closed. Sorry guys, if the rest of you didn't get it..

PRSS visit tomorrow! x)) I'm pretty excited about it!

Monday, February 4, 2008

I admit I've been changing blogskins serveral times these few days.
I will settle down with this current skin, won't be changing anymore for the next period of time. =x

Oh, and, do visit this blog when you're free! My favourite author. Lol.

I love CO days!
Friday, February 1, 2008

I'm lazy to post about the last few days, but well, never mind.
Yesterday, I went back to school again!
This time livelier. There was Dinah, Vanessa and Amanda.
Me, V, and A signed up for the alumni.
I never thought I would be up for that too. xD
Anyway, I want to ask. Why when people see my name, they speak of Joan of Arc?
I was complaining of nothing to do.
So, Ms Ho LC the kind soul kindly found us a work to do - we helped her with the sec 1's quiz in the library.
I thought we weren't allowed to go in, but thank goodness the librarian didn't say anything.
We sat comfortably down [hey, it's AIR-CONDITIONED in the library!] and discussed.
Amanda claimed she enjoys failing students, so Ms Ho and I were encouraging her to go NIE. LOL.
A girl was marked 1 out of 10 because she didn't bring her calculator on that day. Good luck to her. Pray that the quiz isn't part of the CAs.

I seldom go visit empty-handed, and I purchased oreos from the Fairprice.
I didn't want to buy sweets because I did that almost all the time. =x

When I got home, I switched my toys section and clothes section in the wardrobe.
Meanwhile, guess what my mum showed me?
She bought a new piece of towel for me, printed with cute little bunnies all over.
Omigosh, if I round off my age, I'll be TWENTY years old, soon.

Sigh. Couldn't go YS' house today because she took leave on Wednesday. T-T
Hope for another day.
